Meet Stacey King

My Experience:

This is my third year in the Andover School District, and my seventeenth in the field of education. I have served both Meadowlark and 
Sunflower schools in ELP and enrichment.

My Education:

I graduated from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri in December of 1991. I participated in various 
organizations associated with education throughout my training to be a teacher. I majored in Elementary Education with a minor in 
Jr. High/Middle School Science and English. Once I began teaching I went on to complete my gifted certification the summer of 1997 
from Wichita State University. I have most recently obtained a Masters in Education from Friends University, May 2005.

My Family:

My husband, Tim, and I have been married since 1991, but we have been together since we were sixteen.  We have been living in or 
around the Wichita area since we moved here in 1993. In 2000, we welcomed our son, Alex to the family.  We have an adorable 
Bichon-Poo named Daisy who rules all of our hearts!

My Hobbies:

I love to read! It is what I enjoy the most (besides spending time with my friends and family). My other hobby is scrapbooking. I 
have completed the first five years of my son’s life, our family vacations, my story, and my teaching career.
