Meet Vickie Olsen
My Experience:This is my ninth year in the Andover School District. It is my twenty-second year of teaching 2-6th graders; I began my career in Maize, Kansas. I have most recently worked as an Academic Coach for the Andover School District.
My Education:I earned my Elementary Education teaching degree from Wichita State University in December of 1986. I received my Masters Degree in Counseling - Emphasis in January of 1997 from the University of Phoenix. I am currently working towards my gifted certification through Emporia State University.
My Family:I am engaged to a gentleman from Oklahoma. My oldest son, Luke, works at Happyhill Farms in Texas. My middle son, Lincoln, is a Urologist in Tennesse. He is married to Karin and they have two girls and a boy (Brooke, Ryane, and Gavin). Lindsay, my youngest child, has just started her five year residency as a general surgeon in Phoenix, Arizonia.
My Hobbies-Traveling is my biggest joy! My fiance and I travel all over together. I enjoy spending time with my family and I also love to read good books.
